Blue

Last thursday - as part of spring break - my daughter and I hopped in the car and went to one of my favourite places: Montreal. We spent the day there doing fun things... First we went to the Botanical Gardens to see the butterflies - picture hundreds of butterflies flying free in a large tropical greenhouse. Amazing!
Then we went to the venerable Montreal Pool Room on St. Laurent for lunch - serving poutine and pepsi since 1912 :) After that gut-bomb, we drove to the top of Mont Royal and looked out upon the city..... It goes on and on for miles..... We just wanted to keep exploring. Unfortunately though all good things come to an end..... but we drove home smiling with a day full of nice memories to hold onto and a few pics. I'll be putting some of my favourites up over the next couple of days. Hope you enjoy them....
