Yesterday we attended Jacques Cartier park in Gatineau, Quebec, which is the sight of the Snow Kingdom - the children's playground of winter, if you will. There are ice slides, snow mazes, food food food, entertainers, and a snow sculpting competition. All of Canada's provinces and territories (13 all inclusive) enter a team. This example here is British Columbia's entry (a sentimental favourite of mine ) To give you perspective, the average sized adult male would stand just as tall as the piano stool!! I'll try and find out who won and post the winner. :)

@Bronnie: Thanks - Not exactly sure on the timeframe. I got there after they were done so...... hmmm. Good question though. If I find out I'll post the answer :)
Beautiful capture. Looks like it would be hard to photograph properly with all that white. You did an excellent job!

@Craiger: Thanks Craiger :) Yes - it was a big problem for me when I first started shooting here in Ottawa = long snowy winters!! But I've learned to compensate - but every outing is a new challenge. Glad this one worked. .. thanks again. ajk
