I took this shot in Kyoto, Japan. This was a routine sight on my way to work in the mornings. As it probably has been for the last 1200 or so years in that city....

cool shot AJ. The noise gives it a suitably aged feel and doesnt detract at all. Where precisely was this taken AJ? I'm trying to place it but I just cant.

@Duncan Galbraith: Thanks Duncan - you are - as always - very generous with your comments. If I remember correctly (and this shot was taken back in 94/95 so I may be off a bit) but I believe the shot was taken facing eastbound on either Shijo or Sanjo bridges. I used to see the monks on both of those bridges as I made my way to work in mornings or home in the afternoons.
Nice shot, I like the blurry feeling of it, makes you feel like you are looking an image from your memories and this comes as a revelation. Look for the monk and you will find what lies ahead...!
