As I said at the beginning of this series, Wakefield is a town with a Bohemian quality to it. Word is that during the Vietnam war, many conscientious objectors fled the US and settled in the area. Consequently, the town of Wakefield has its share of artsy, grass-roots businesses. One that we were more than happy to find was this cafe where we stopped before heading home to warm up on hot-chocolate and dessert :) The kitchen was just closing but the menu looked wonderful. I have to go back earlier next time and try out the menu!
This shot was taken just as we waited for our Hot Chocolate to arrive. It was chilly outside exploring - this picture reminds me of the warmth that Chez-Eric provided....
